Four-Count Breath

If you ever feel stress or want to procrastinate, then I’ve got a simple breathing technique for you.

When you do the counting, each count is less than a second, so it’s not too fast nor too slow. Don’t worry about having it be perfect. Just go with the flow as best you can.

1. Inhale as you silently count to four.
2. Then hold your breath for a count of four.
3. Then exhale for a count of four.

Do the entire cycle two or three times. The goal is really just to get yourself into a more relaxed state, so you let go of stress or the procrastination state. If you have any challenge in using this technique or have any questions, just ask.
