Most smokers want to quit, but how many do?

Today the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) released a report showing that about 69% of smokers wanted to quit in 2010. That’s actually good news! The bad news? Only 6.2% succeeded.

To me, that shows the incredible power of smoking. A report like this is both frustrating and inspiring. Frustrating because so many of these people would’ve succeeded if only they’d used hypnosis. Inspiring because it makes me want to do more to spread the word about smoking and hypnosis.

Most smokers try to quit without getting help. If you know someone like that, please mention that hypnosis can greatly reduce their withdrawal symptoms, including the intense craving. Hypnosis simply makes quitting much more pleasant and peaceful.
